Tera’s goal is to help improve the health of the consumer and the planet. We believe that we can do this by analyzing products in order to help consumers make better sense of what they are buying.  Our mission is that through informed purchasing, consumers will be able to leverage their buying power to force companies towards making less harmful products. 

Tera has evaluated over 100,000 products so far, but are constantly growing our catalog. If you have any products or brands you want evaluated please see our feedback form. 

Currently we do not get paid to promote any products or brands. However, we are exploring the possibility of allowing paid advertisements from targeted brands that meet our stringent criteria in order to better cover our costs. Our workers need to be paid in order to keep the Tera ecosystem up and running! We do promise though, that no advertisements will ever affect our unbiased analysis of every product.

When possible, we leverage affiliate programs for the products we find. That means some of the products in the marketplace earn a very small percentage when purchased through the Tera link. Currently, we earn through the Amazon Associate Affiliate program, but look to expand in order to maintain a free app, expand into other categories (like food), and find more healthy products options. However, we do not collect, analyze, or display products based on any affiliate programs or any other 3rd party compensation.
