You selected your preferences in the signup process, and all these colored bubbles you see in the marketplace/search and on the product page, represent all those preferences! Below is a breakdown of what the different colors mean.   Green: Matches your selected preferences  Yellow: Does not match your selected preferences and carries a low risk Red: Does not match your selected preferences and carries a high riskGray: Not enough information available to rate the product  

We utilize product & ingredient information from retailers and/or brands sites and analyze it against industry standard data such as ECHA (European Chemicals Agency) and GHS (Global Harmonized System of Hazard Classification). You might be wondering why we wouldn't use a chemical classification system from the United States; well, unfortunately the U.S. does not have one. So we use ECHA and GHS, which are the most robust chemical classification systems in the world.

Tera uses industry leading third party certifications. The following certifications are used for the each category:   Vegan: PETA or Vegan.org Animal Cruelty Free: PETA or Leaping Bunny   If a product does not have a certification this means that either:  The product is Vegan orCruelty Free, but is just not certified The product may not be Vegan or Cruelty Free  Note: Two certifications are coming in the near future: 

If you wish to change your preferences follow these steps: Navigate to account management (furthest tab on the right of the navigation bar)  Click on “my shopping preferences”  From here you will be brought to the same experience as when you select your preference during the signup process.   Note: Additionally, you are unable to deselect your one and only child preference without selecting another one. 

Yes! Currently Amazon and a few small stores are available for customers to shop at through our app, but we are working diligently to add more stores. If you have a store you want added please see our feedback form.    

Yes! More product categories are always on the way. The next big category we plan to introduce is Food.

Yes! More preferences are always on the way. As you may have seen in the preference selection screen, the next big preference we plan to introduce is “Social Impact”. This will include the following subcategories: Woman Owned Business Made in USA Charitable Ethically Made BIPOC Owned
